This policy explains what personal data HireVAna collects, why, and your rights over it. We process data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

1. Who we are

HireVAna is operated by Foreground Digital (the "Company", "we", "us"). For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

2. What we collect

• Account data — name, email, password (hashed), role.
• Profile data — for specialists: photo, bio, skills, rates, experience, LinkedIn; for employers: company name, emirate, contact details.
• Verification data — government ID (Philippine National ID or passport), a face-match video, resume; for employers: UAE trade licence and Emirates ID.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches, messages, and device/log information.

3. Why we use it

• To verify identity and keep the marketplace trustworthy.
• To operate the service — profiles, search, matching, messaging.
• To communicate with you about your account and the service.
• To detect fraud, abuse and policy violations.

4. How we share it

We do not sell your data. Verification documents (IDs, trade licence, face video) are never shown to other users — only your public profile is visible. We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, storage), under contract, and where required by law.

5. Storage, security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with access restricted to authorised staff. Sensitive verification documents are stored privately. Face-match videos are deleted within 90 days regardless of verification outcome. We keep other data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights (PDPL)

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the service working, and limited analytics cookies to improve it. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Significant changes will be notified to you.

By using HireVAna you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — they define what HireVAna is, and importantly, what it is not.

1. What HireVAna is

HireVAna is an online venue that introduces UAE businesses ("Employers") to Philippines-based remote professionals ("Specialists"). HireVAna is operated by Foreground Digital.

2. What HireVAna is not

• HireVAna is not a party to any agreement, contract or working relationship between an Employer and a Specialist.
• HireVAna is not an employer, agent, recruiter, or labour-supply agency. Using the platform does not create an employment relationship with HireVAna.
• HireVAna does not supervise, manage, or pay Specialists, and is not involved in the work performed or the wages agreed.
• HireVAna does not handle payments between users — wages are arranged and paid directly between the Employer and the Specialist, off-platform.

3. Verification is not a guarantee

We verify identities and business documents in good faith to reduce fraud, but verification is provided on a best-effort basis and is not a guarantee of any user's identity, qualifications, conduct, or the quality or legality of any work. You are responsible for your own due diligence.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and genuine documents.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including those of the UAE and the Philippines.
• Agree the terms of any engagement (scope, hours, rate, payment) directly with the other party.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not submit false or stolen documents, impersonate others, post fraudulent jobs, harass users, scrape the platform, or attempt to defraud anyone. We may suspend or remove any account at our discretion for any breach.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HireVAna and Foreground Digital are not liable for any loss, dispute, non-payment, poor performance, or damages arising from interactions between users or use of the platform. Any disputes are strictly between the Employer and the Specialist; we may assist but are not obligated to and are not bound by the outcome.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireVAna and Foreground Digital from any claims, damages or costs arising from your use of the platform or your dealings with other users.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable free zone authority. Disputes will be subject to the relevant UAE jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post the new date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
